Steve Troop was born in Poway, California in 1972. A short time later, he created Mayberry Melonpool and has been drawing or puppeteering the little spaceman ever since.

Steve currently makes his living as a puppet designer in Los Angeles, CA with his crazy Italian Greyhound, Tilly. He is co-owner of Puppet Design Studio and is available for freelance art, storyboarding and graphic design work.
