For those of you not in the know, Corbomite was something that Captain Kirk used in “Star Trek” as a ruse to defeat both the Romulans and the First Federation (Balok, not Belloq — maybe that’s a future gag). Carbonite was what Han Solo was frozen inside in “The Empire Strikes Back.”
I’ve always thought it was weird that they sounded so similar!
