Mayberry Melonpool is the television-addicted, somewhat clumsy, not-all-that-intelligent Captain of the "Steel Duck." Oh yeah, and he's obsessed with getting a date. In short, he doesn't have a lot going for him.
Roberta Smeffinfeffer is level-headed, if not a little bit insecure. She has the tendency to follow her heart a little too much. Case in point: she's also Ralph (and Ralphie's) ex-wife. She has a background in space biology and studies medicine for awhile. She currently serves as doctor aboard the "Steel Duck."
Originally named "Hamster 13," Tammy is the former engineer of Roberta's ship, The "Blue Bird." She's much smarter than any other of Ralph's giant hamsters, but was horribly-burned saving the rest of the crew. She currently is encased in a block of Carbonite, awaiting medical treatment.
Mayberry has little to no interest in the Dr. Who Franchise. He’s got his plate full with his obsession of Star Trek, Star Wars, Back to the Future and a few others. Much like myself. 😉
I hate to ask this, but couldn’t Roberta take ON-LINE CLASSES to gain her doctor degree ?
Also nice way to explain Mayberry’s love for all things sci-if, but I wonder how he feels about the Doctor Who franchise ?
Also the seeds for the final original crew member are coming. I cannot wait to see the rebirth of Jenna or is it Jelela ?
i think getting a doctor degree requires hands on stuff too so no
Marcus: Jalea, actually.
And take heart, Mayberry – that just means you’re going where no Trekkie has gone before!

That last line sounds like one someone might utter at a convention…
“May the Fourth be with you” – Dr. Who
(Makes the Spock sign)
