I have Art in an Upcoming Art Show!
I’m participating in The Peanut Gallery: A Charlie Brown Themed Art Show at Meltdown Comics in Los Angeles on Friday, February 5 from 8pm to 10pm. I posted in-progress pics while I was creating my artwork in my Instagram Feed. After the kickoff event, the piece will be on display from Feb. 5-14.
I’m selling limited-edition color prints of the finished strip for $10 at the show. I colored the entire strip, trying to meticulously match the color palette that Charles Schulz used in the old Sunday comics. This is just one of the final panels, but all the of the panels are in color on the print.
The prints measure 9″ x 12″ and are printed on glossy cover stock. I’ll number and sign each one. If you’re unable to attend but still want a print, email me at melonpool@gmail.com. $10 plus shipping. The original is also for sale at the gallery for $800.
