Mayberry Melonpool is the television-addicted, somewhat clumsy, not-all-that-intelligent Captain of the "Steel Duck." Oh yeah, and he's obsessed with getting a date. In short, he doesn't have a lot going for him.
Ralphie Zinobop is an "evil" clone of Ralph Zinobop. Since Ralph was already evil, Ralphie popped out warm, caring and generally the nicest guy you’ll ever meet — essentially, he’s everything that the original Ralph is not. In addition to his personality, Ralphie is left-handed (Ralph is a “righty”), his DNA winds the opposite direction and his fingerprints are reversed.
Hey Chris —
Yes the film is still going. I haven;t had a lot of positive things to say on the Kickstarter site (being unemployed for almost a year, having two of the puppets stolen, losing the shop, putting everything into storage and then having to rebuild the sets), so I have;t posted anything there. If you check my Instagram account regularly you can see that I’ve been building Sam, Mayberry and Roberta. All that’s left are finishing Ralph and Ralphie and Sammy. I know that sounds like a lot — but maybe I was a fool to think I’d have it done by now. I also didn’t factor in things like Sarah and me breaking up and losing my job and having to move twice, either. I’d much rather keep a positive out look on all things Melonpool and reliving that aspect of my life doesn’t do a whole lot to keep me happy.
ZSC…2?
Jerkier than Ralph?
It wouldn’t happen to be under the command of Captain Fauntleroy, nah, no way…
Is this still a thing? https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/182240459/puppets-in-space/comments
The idea of Fauntleroy preceding Ralphie… is…
*head a splode*
I hope it’s a completely new twist, myself! =D
