The Future is Now
Well, now that it’s finally Oct 21, maybe this crazy Internet meme will finally be put to rest.
But I doubt it.
Sigh.
Here are a few of the hoaxes we’ve already had to endure:

I should have known you make a mention to Back to the future and the many time travel events of Melonpool for today’s strip. You never cease to amaze me with how much you tie up your current stuff to your past stuff. Please keep up the good work.
Marcus is right, and I was always amazed at how you managed to keep the time travel timelines (sounds like I’m stuttering) internally consistent.
The Ultimate Melonpool collections helped a lot. Also, I kept detailed flowcharts and almost always worked out all of the timelines about a year in advance when I was writing them. I also have kind of a head for it. It used to anger me when readers would accuse me of not paying attention to time travel when I was writing because I did put so much time and effort into keeping it all straight.
I actually had the fortune of being born on the 21st of October, and being a big fan of the movies, I was never fooled by those memes. I couldn’t believe how many people I came across that day that remembered that the 21st was “Back To The Future Day.” Didn’t even mind they forgot my birthday! 😀
I never read the original Melonpool, but I’m always glad to see tie-ins between generations of comics.
